Echinacea Relieves Anxiety

A popular cold remedy and immune system enhancer, echinacea can also relieve anxiety.  A Hungarian study found that the root of a specific species of the herb, Echinacea angustifolia, when taken at very low doses (about 20 mg, which is less than one-tenth of common amounts for immunity), reduced anxiety by 25 percent within one week.
